A Good Months Racing for Matt Robinson

Well its been a busy month of road racing and the form has finally come ! really been enjoying my racing again this year and the new bike is just awsome ! The season did not start so well with crashing at Stokesley so it took me a while to get going.

Had a good 4th place in April in the Frank Morgan Memorial Race which was not my kind of circuit but was feeling strong! June and July is when things started to come good with another 4th place at Doncaster followed up with at not so bad 9th at the Otley Crit ! Had a great ride against a quality field in the elite 1/2/3 race over a tough 90 mile course in Pontefract after being in the main break all day so knew things were starting to come good !

The following week i got a good 5th in the Blackpool Crit unfortunately being marked out by the Wheelbase Team who were not going to let me go.  Finally the following week I got my way and got a quality victory in Halifax on a tough little circuit attacking on the 2nd lap and riding for 5 laps on my own to the finish finally being able to get my hands in the air and dedicate my hard earned win to Tom ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjOpwRMIceQ

Its off to the Tour de France this Friday to the Pyrenees to ride the climbs and watch the big boys so hopefully the altitude training will do me good and i can continue where I left off with some more good results for Team Terrain !
