We've kept the winning formula from last year's High Latitude but added some key touches.
Not least of these is a top-end X-Fusion Slide RL2 fork featuring a tapered steerer, a 15mm bolt through axle and an air spring - it's one of the smoothest operating forks we've tested and to be honest you probably won't even notice it on the trails - this is a good thing. Matched with a weight saving 2x Deore drivetrain including Shadow+ clutch rear mech and equipped with unflappable Maxxis Ardent tyres (on wide, tubeless-ready Alex Volar 2.3 rims, no less) you can see why, out of the box, the High Latitude 20 is probably the quickest hardtail in our range.
