Giant Road Bikes

Body: From entry-level aluminium road bikes to supremely aerodynamic carbon race machines, Giant has a drop-handlebar bike for everyone.

Giant Defy 1 – £895.00 – 0% Finance Available From £24.86 Per Month

Giant Defy  –  £479.00 – £995.00

Based on an aluminium compact frame, the Defy range is Giant’s low-cost starting point. The six-bike line-up, from the entry-level Defy 5 with Shimano Claris gears, to the range-topping Defy 0 with Shimano’s superb Ultegra components, offers amazing value. Don’t be fooled by the low prices, though — the Defy offers market-leading comfort, control and responsiveness.

Giant Defy Advanced 2 –

Defy Advanced –  £1,145 – £1,595

For the Defy Advanced, Giant has taken the Defy frame shape and formed it out of carbon, creating a bike that is more comfortable over long, hard rides but doesn’t lack any of its aluminium brother’s enthusiasm. Frame material isn’t the only upgrade: each of the three bikes in the Defy Advanced range comes with secure mechanical disc brakes, meaning its riders can relax coming down the hill, as well as climbing up it.

Giant Defy Advanced Pro 2 –

Defy Advanced Pro £1,995 – £3,495

The Defy Advanced Pro range builds on the fantastic qualities of the Defy Advanced, but makes them just a little more refined in all areas. The bikes are lighter, they’re more controllable, more responsive, more comfortable, and quicker to ride. Two of the three-bike range even comes with ultra-plush hydraulic disc brakes, making speed regulation almost perfect.

Giant Defy Advanced SL 1

Defy Advanced SL £3,495 – £5,495

The top of the Defy family tree, the two-bike Defy Advanced SL range is the very pinnacle of endurance-performance cycling. While the SL 1 comes with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes and a Shimano Ultegra gearset, the simply astonishing SL 0 features no-expense-spared Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 electronic gears. Giant says there’s no better machine for long, demanding days in the saddle — we think it’s hard to disagree.

Giant TCR Advanced 2

TCR Advanced £1,195 – £1,495

The direct descendent of Giant’s original trend-setting Compact Road frame, the TCR Advanced range features a hand-built, lightweight carbon frame. More speed and race-focused than the Defy, the TCR offers superb handling and excellent power transfer. The three-bike range starts with the TCR Advanced 3 with a full Shimano Tiagra groupset, and tops out with the TCR Advanced 1 fitted with full Shimano Ultegra.

Giant TCR Advanced Pro 1

TCR Advanced Pro £1,795 – £2,595

The two-bike TCR Advanced Pro range focuses even more attention on the details used in the TCR Advanced to produce bikes that have been designed as absolutely complete race machines. The TCR Advanced Pro 2 features a Shimano 105 groupset while the range-topping TCR Advanced Pro 1 comes with Shimano Ultegra.

Giant Propel Advanced Pro 1

Propel Advanced Pro £2,595 – £3,595

A step up from the standard Propel Advanced, the Propel Advanced Pro range comes with all the aerodynamic benefits of the carbon Advanced Pro frame but also features Giant’s unique SpeedControl SL brake system. As well as three complete bikes the Propel Advanced Pro is also available as a frameset.

Giant Revolt 3 –

Revolt £695-£995

Bridging the gap between road bike and mountain bike, the Revolt uses a very tidy, compact ALUXX aluminium with a short-reach drop handlebar, mechanical disc brakes and enough tyre clearance to fit anything up to whopping 50mm-wide rubber. All three bikes in the range are fitted with an X-Defender down tube guard to protect the rider from trail splatter, highlighting just how off-road ready the Revolt really is.

Giant Anyroad 1 –

View Giant Anyroad Road Bike

AnyRoad £795-£1394

We think the AnyRoad is one of the most exciting Giant ranges in the company’s entire catalogue. Not only does it have the ability to be fast on road, lanes or mild off-road, but its ALUXX aluminium frame just looks amazing. There are two AnyRoad models on offer, and both come with super-strong Puncture Protect tyres, so you really can test the AnyRoad ability on any surface. The AnyRoad 2 comes with a 27-speed Sora-quality Shimano drivetrain and SRAM BB5 mechanical disc brakes, while its slightly higher-spec brother the AnyRoad 1 features an improved 20-speed groupset. For the road rider who wants the option to head further afield, but lose none of their speed, it’s ideal.
