Chainsets & Cranks

The crankset or chainset, is the component of a bicycle drivetrain that converts the reciprocating motion of the rider's legs into rotational motion used to drive the chain or belt, which in turn drives the rear wheel. It needs to be strong, light, durable and of course, value for money. Chainset choice is determined not only by the type of bike you are riding - BMX, MTB and road chainsets are not interchangeable - but also by the type of riding you prefer.
