All prices are £ Sterling and include VAT at the current rate (where applicable).

The information, products and services contained on this website may be out of date or include omissions, inaccuracies or other errors. All information is provided on an 'as is' basis.

All items offered are subject to availability and we reserve the right to refuse any order. Online prices may be different from in-store prices and our shops may not carry the same stock and offers as available online. We advise that you contact us prior to visiting a store to ensure the stock you are looking for is at your intended destination – to do this please email sales@allterraincycles.co.uk

All sizes where quoted are approximate only. Colours may vary due to manufacturing runs and computer screen settings.

Delivery usually takes up to 10 working days.

Once checked and signed for all goods are the responsibility of the purchaser. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

All Terrain Cycles cannot be held responsible for delivery failures by third parties. We appreciate how frustrating it is if this happens and we'll give our couriers a very hard time if it does, but we're not able to pay any compensation.


PRODUCT INFORMATION & PRICING

In the event that our product descriptions or prices are incorrect, we reserve the right to correct that price or description and notify you accordingly.

If you have ordered an item that is not suitable based upon the incorrect product description or price given, we will correct this by cancelling your order and refunding your credit/debit card or Paypal account in full. This will be the extent of our liability to you in the event of these errors.


OUR WARRANTY POLICY

We work hard prior to dispatching your product to make sure it never comes back as a warranty issue. We know how frustrating warranty problems can be and our aim is to assess any problems, find a resolution and get you back out using your product as quickly as we can. As with all warranty though there are some things you need to know:

Our policy does not affect your statutory rights.

All Terrain Cycles does not warrant against failure or damage due to misuse such as, but not limited to incorrect installation, poor maintenance, abuse or neglect, using the product for something other than its intended purpose, alteration of the product unless expressly permitted in writing by All Terrain Cycles.

All Terrain Cycles does not cover general wear and tear on tyres, inner tubes, brakes, brake and gear cables, brake pads, light bulbs, chain rings, chains, cassettes, rims, batteries etc.

Corrosion and/or deterioration caused by material fatigue defined as the natural breakdown of materials that occurs after extended use will not be covered under warranty.

After the initial 30-day period All Terrain Cycles Reserve the right to repair/replace any defective part under warranty.

Warranty is non transferrable and applies to the original purchaser only. Proof of purchase is required with all potential warranty claims.

Any item that is repaired or replaced under warranty will be covered by a period equal to the remaining warranty period of the original part.

Usage during competitions, events, circuits or activities other than those for which the bicycle/component has been conceived will greatly reduce its useful life and is not covered under warranty.

Costs incurred as a result of loss of use, as well as labour charges for part replacement or changeovers are not covered.

We recommend that all components bought from us are fitted by a Cytech Qualified Bike Mechanic, any component not fitted by a Cytech qualified mechanic may invalidate any warranty claim or Personal Injury Claim.

How to make a warranty claim

All goods purchased from All Terrain Cycles are covered by a full manufacturer’s warranty and, generally speaking, warranties cover manufacturing faults and defects including poor workmanship. If you feel that your purchase has developed a fault, then please email us at sales@allterraincycles.co.uk before returning any goods - we may be able to solve your problem without you incurring any postage costs.

Please include the following details in your email:-

  1. Date of Purchase
  2. Where you made your Purchase – In Store (Salts Mill or Wetherby) or Online
  3. For Bikes and Frames; Make, Model and Serial Number
  4. For Suspension Forks; Make, Model and Serial Number
  5. For Turbo Trainers; Make, Model and Serial Number
  6. Specific details of the issue
  7. Take a few photos of the issue you wish to claim warranty against including a photo of the full item, the Serial or Frame Number.

We will then get in contact with you for the next steps in completing your claim.

Will my claim be successful?

It very much depends on the problem and whether your item is still inside warranty. We look at each case with the aim of resolving the issue to your satisfaction. We use our Cytech trained workshop mechanics to assess and repair. We also raise issues to the manufacturers for repair and replacement. Each claim is thoroughly investigated to ensure we give you the best possible service.

How long will my warranty claim take?

We make every effort to resolve warranty as fast as possible; we know you want to get back on your bike! If we can sort the issue we will but in some cases products have to be sent back to manufacturers, and this can then take a little longer. Please be patient with us as you can be assured we are constantly striving to achieve the quickest turnaround we can.


CREDIT CARD SECURITY

We take online security extremely seriously and have taken several steps to ensure that your payment information is processed confidentially and accurately.

All payments are processed via Sagepay Payment Gateway and are fully encrypted for your personal security.

All payments are preauthorised and held pending until we despatch your order or get your finance application processed.


OUR DELIVERY

In stock items are normally dispatched within 1 – 3 days of you placing an order, and you should receive the goods 3-5 working days after ordering. Couriers unfortunately do not work weekends, so orders placed on Fridays are usually dispatched on Mondays and with you on Tuesday or Wednesday. All parcels must be signed for, unless you have previously given your consent, at the time of placing your order, for the consignment to be left somewhere without a signature.

Please note if your parcel is left at your request, without a signature, you forfeit your right to make any claim with ourselves or the courier in the event of loss or damage.

Whilst we carry huge stocks we do sometimes run out of stock, notably promotional items. If this happens we will endeavour to notify you of any shortages and a likely delivery time or alternative product.


CUSTOM WHEEL ORDERS

Please remember that custom Wheels are hand built to your specification so please allow approximately 7-10 days for manufacture plus delivery time; if a longer delivery time is envisaged we will endeavour to inform you. As wheels are made to your personal specifications they are not refundable so please ensure that you are ordering exactly what you require.


BIKE AND FRAME ORDERS

The range of bikes and frames available from our suppliers is vast, and whilst we carry very large stocks, we simply cannot carry all sizes & colours. As a consequence, your bike order may have to be purchased on your behalf from our supplier, so please ensure the size and colour you order are correct at time of order. We will inform you of an estimated date of delivery but cannot be held liable for any delay should this occur. If you need a bike for a specific date please advise of this when placing the order, and we can then confirm if the required delivery can be achieved.

Your order can be cancelled before or 14 days after dispatch. Cancellations after this date will be subject to a restocking charge of no less than 20%. If you choose to return a bike or frame to us after you have received the goods you are obliged to return it in the same condition as it arrived. You must take reasonable care to ensure that we receive it in a restockable condition and we strongly recommend that insurance is taken out on bikes during transit.


BUYING WITH FINANCE

The finance facilities offered by All Terrain Cycles Ltd are provided by Klarna. We offer 14.9% APR finance, but there is a minimum spend of £250 and 10% deposit. Finance is explained in more detail on the Bicycle Finance page.

Please note that orders paid for on finance can only be shipped to the billing address given on your application. It will not be possible for us to ship goods to a different delivery address.

All Terrain Cycles do reserve the right to exclude products of our choosing from certain finance packages. These can include purchases used in conjunction with promotional coupons, reduced items and sale bikes.

SHIPPING COSTS

UK

£3.99 for all orders; excluding Electric Bikes which are Store Collect Only. When ordering bikes there is no additional delivery charge for other items.

NOTE: Courier deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands and Northern Ireland will incur a charge for any courier delivery such as bulky items & bikes. For these areas the cost will be £25 for bulky items and £50 for bikes.

EU and Europe

DUTY LIABILITY

Orders delivered outside the EU (Including Canary Islands and Channel Islands) are sold exclusive of VAT and may be subject to Customs Duties and Import Taxes.

Unfortunately we have no control over this part of your orders' journey so to get the best advice you should contact your local customs office.

It is a legal requirement that we declare the full value of the goods (not including shipping charges) on all packages delivered outside the EU, and shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country.

It is a criminal offence to falsify the details on this form. We cannot inaccurately describe the contents, claim a lower value or mark as a gift. Please do not ask us to do any of the above.

Any additional charges or fees for customs clearance must be covered by you. Unfortunately we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. We are unable to reimburse any costs incurred regardless of the circumstances.

MISSING PARCELS/DAMAGE

Please be aware that if you request that goods are left safe via the courier notes, All Terrain Cycles cannot claim for missing items or damage to your parcel. As a result, in the event of an absence, we strongly recommend that you collect your parcel from a local delivery depot or instruct the courier to leave your parcel with a trusted neighbour.

UK DELIVERY VIA ROYAL MAIL

Please note that we will need to wait 21 Days from dispatch before we can investigate the non-arrival of an item sent by ‘Royal Mail Signed For’

EU & EUROPE DELIVERY

Please note that we will need to wait 90 Days from dispatch before we can investigate the non-arrival of an item sent by ‘Royal Mail International Signed For’.


CANCELLATION & EXCHANGE

You can cancel or exchange your order before or 30 days after despatch (excludes bike, frame and finance orders). You must ensure that they are returned to us in restockable condition and we strongly recommend that insurance is taken out on expensive items during transit.

Goods must be clean, not covered in muck and oil. Goods must be accompanied with Completed Returns Form. Unfortunately postage costs cannot be covered but we will try our best to resolve any problem you have as it is in our interest to have a happy customer!


PAYMENT POLICY

All Terrain Cycles accepts most major credit cards for online orders. You will be asked to enter your card details and the name and the address of the cardholder when you place the order. These details will be checked with your issuing bank and you will be prompted to enter your Verified by Visa or MasterCard Secure Code password on your card issuer's page.

For offline orders All Terrain Cycles accept (£) Sterling Postal Orders, Personal Cheques, (£) Sterling Bank Drafts and (£) Bank Transfers in Sterling (£). We recommend that you do not send cash through the post.

RETURNS AND CANCELLATION RIGHTS

We offer a very helpful and hassle-free returns policy, after all, we are here to help you!

OUR RETURNS POLICY

  • Goods must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
  • Returned goods must be unused, in a saleable condition and in their original packaging with all labels still attached.
  • Goods must not be fitted or used.
  • All Goods must be accompanied with a Completed Returns Form.
  • Goods can be returned to the Store for a refund or exchange. A Completed Returns form must accompany all goods returned to the store; the refund however will be processed by the Mail Order Customer Service Staff and not by the Store Staff so the refund may not be immediate.

You also have rights under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 which state that up to 14 days after receiving your goods, in most cases, you can change your mind and get a full refund. You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days from delivery without giving any reason. This right does not apply to any customised or personalised goods bought through our website. To exercise this right please Contact Us prior to the expiry of the cancellation rights period.

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:

  • 14 days after the day we received back from you any goods supplied; or
  • (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods; or
  • if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 says goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. During the expected lifespan of your product you're entitled to the following:

  • up to 30 days: if your goods are faulty, then you can get a refund;
  • up to six months: if they can't be repaired or replaced, then you're entitled to a full refund, in most cases;
  • up to six years: if the goods do not last a reasonable length of time, you may be entitled to some money back.

Nothing in this contract affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (also known as ‘statutory rights’). You may also have other rights in law.

Please contact us, if you want:

  • us to repair the goods;
  • us to replace the goods;
  • a price reduction; or
  • to reject the goods and get a refund.

OUR TERMS & CONDITIONS

All Terrain Cycles is a UK based company and complies with UK consumer law including the Distance Selling Regulations, which are designed to protect you when buying items by Mail Order. Distance Selling Regulations give you the right to cancel an order and return any goods that may already have been dispatched, (see Returns) up to 7 days from receipt. We offer a flexible returns policy and we will happily refund or exchange any item purchased from us within 30 days except for those purchased through a finance agreement (see separate T&C below).

CUSTOM BUILT PRODUCTS INCLUDING WHEELS AND BIKES

When we custom build wheels or a bike for you, it is built specifically for you, and to your exact specification. This means that we are not obliged to accept back custom-built items for a refund or exchange.


FAULTY, DAMAGED OR BROKEN GOODS

All goods purchased from All Terrain Cycles are covered by a full warranty. The duration of this warranty is at least 1 year but some manufacturers offer extended warranty. Generally speaking, warranties cover manufacturing faults and defects but do not cover damage caused by crashing, abuse, general wear and tear etc. If you feel that the product you have purchased from All Terrain Cycles has developed a fault then please contact us before returning goods as many problems may be solved without you incurring postage costs. If the goods need to be returned:-

NEW ITEMS RETURNED BECAUSE WE HAVE POSTED THE WRONG ITEM

Believe it or not we do make mistakes on the odd occasion! If we have sent you a part which is different to what is listed on your invoice we will be happy to make an exchange and pay your first class postage costs for returning the item.

  • Goods must be returned within 7 days of receipt.
  • Goods must be in original packaging.
  • Goods must not be fitted or used.
  • You will have to pay the post office to return the goods but we will refund these costs to your card.
  • Goods must be accompanied with a Completed Returns Form.

FAST TRACK RETURNS OPTION

If you are in an extreme hurry to get your return processed, you can opt for an All Terrain Cycles Fast Track Return. With this option, you simply place a new order for the replacement item and we will charge and send the order out to you as normal. Then you can simply return the original item for a refund.

You will be charged in full for the replacement goods when they are sent out. The Fast Track Return Option can only be processed on new items for exchange and does not apply to faulty, damaged or warranty inspection items.

  • The original items must be returned within 21 days of receipt.
  • Goods must be in original packaging.
  • Goods must not be fitted or used.
  • We will refund your card on receipt of the returned item.
