The Datum range-topper, resplendent in Oyster white and sporting a full Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic drivetrain.
Quite possibly the one road bike to rule them all! Clearance for 33c tyres and 45mm mudgaurds, x3 sets of bottle bosses for extra-long adventures into the unknown, a stiff and efficient pedalling chassis with impressive in-saddle comfort and luxurious 33c Challenge Strada Bianca tyres to suck up the potholes, cracks, those cop-out loose chippings used for ‘resurfacing’ and sunken drain covers. As 'UK-a-road-bike' as you're ever likely to find!
BB86 Press-Fit Bottom Bracket provides the basis for a stiffer, more efficient pedalling platform and wider spaced bearings which helps spreads the load increasing longevity to help you keep spinning smoothly mile after mile.
Only the best for the Datum flagship! The frame is fully internal Di2-specific with x3 discreet wire entry/exit ports and a seatpost mounted battery making for a clean and uncluttered aesthetic.
Brand new, larger 700x33c Challenge Strada Bianca clinchers use the same proven tread as found on their Paris-Roubaix model on a larger volume 33c casing. Competeively light @ 355g considering there's a PPS (puncture protection strip) underneath the tread too!
Naturally there are mudguard eyelets – x2 on the inside of either fork leg just above the caliper which are still low enough to provide a stiff, supportive mount but unobtrusive if not in use, and threaded eyelets on the back of fork crown, backside of the bb shell and underside of the seatstay bridge (it’s only there to provide a mounting point for a mudguard). 32/33mm tyres and 45mm full-length guards should fit fine.
