Product Details

The Look X-Track convinces with an easy entry & exit and a large contact area. The contact area of 355mm² provides the best contact between shoe sole and pedal, the most important point where the rider's power is transferred to the bike. The release hardness is adjustable from 6 - 14NM on both sides. The pedal body is made of robust aluminium. All X-Track pedals are compatible with Shimano's SPD system.

The result of LOOK's constant desire to innovate and improve your product experience is a design that is reliable, durable and easy to use. Our new mountain bike pedal is built on a robust mechanism, is resistant to the negative effects of contact with various external factors (rocks, roots, mud...) and provides consistent and reliable performance over time.

Its spindle, equipped with a double weatherproof seal, has been improved to withstand the worst conditions you may encounter on your journeys, and we have remained true to the principles that guide us in our daily work. Less difficulty means more time to drive, and therefore more fun.

Technologies

The best power-to-weight ratio
All the energy you produce is transferred to your MTB by your pedals, so the role of the pedals is crucial. To meet this new challenge, LOOK has set itself the goal of finding solutions that enable the most efficient transfer of rider performance, which is why LOOK has chosen to assign a significant role to the relationship between weight and contact surfaces when defining the product.
In general, the larger the contact area, the more efficiently energy is transferred. On the other hand, a larger contact area also means a heavier pedal. So our engineers faced the challenge of identifying the zones that are useful for energy transfer and then removing the unused areas from the pedal design. This challenge has enabled LOOK to develop a pedal with the best weight-to-contact surface ratio on the market.

Lateral contact aid
The lateral contact aid guides the foot when locating the pedal and provides a contact point even if your shoe has not yet snapped into the pedal plate. This wide contact area prevents your foot from sliding on the pedal body and provides consistent and calming support.

Mechanism/Geometry
The mechanism works regardless of the external conditions (the forces in the mud differ considerably from those in the dry state) and more space makes it easier to remove various foreign bodies (mud, sand, etc.), giving the user a constant and stable feeling of being safely clicked in under all conditions.

Adjustable tension
An adjustable clamping screw allows you to adjust the on/off resistance to your personal level of competence.
