Liv Avail Performance Women's Road Bikes FAQs

What’s the difference between the Langma and Avail bikes?

The Langma is designed as a lightweight, performance-focused race bike ideal for climbing, speed and competitive riding, featuring a stiff carbon frame, precise handling and hydraulic disc brakes.

The Avail, however, is built for endurance and comfort, offering a more relaxed geometry, wider tyre clearance and options for racks and mudguards—making it better suited to long-distance rides, mixed terrain and everyday versatility.

What is an endurance bike?

An endurance road bike is engineered to help you travel long distances comfortably. This design results in a slightly more upright riding position compared to a standard race bike, prioritising comfort over maximum aerodynamics.

How often does a road bike need maintenance?

It is advised to service your bike every 3-4 months for regular riding or in tough conditions, while less regular riders can service every 6 months to a year. Keep in mind that your bike will require its initial service after 4 to 6 weeks, once the cables and components have settled in. We advise having a qualified mechanic perform this service.

What is tyre sealant and why is it used in tubeless systems?

Sealant is a liquid placed inside the tyre that automatically seals small punctures by coagulating when exposed to escaping air. This helps prevent a full tyre deflation and reduces the risk of getting stranded by minor punctures.
