At All Terrain Cycles Limited, we offer PayPal Pay in 3 to help make your purchase more manageable.

PayPal Pay in 3 lets eligible customers spread the cost of qualifying purchases over three interest-free monthly payments, with no additional fees when payments are made as agreed.

PayPal Pay in 3 is subject to eligibility, application and approval by PayPal.

How Pay in 3 Works

If approved, your purchase is split into three equal payments:

  • First payment is taken when you complete your purchase (or when your order is processed).
  • Second payment is collected one month later.
  • Third payment is collected two months after your purchase.

There is:

  • No interest
  • No set-up fees
  • No late payment fees

Eligible purchases are typically between £20 and £3,000.

Applying for Pay in 3

When you choose PayPal at checkout, you'll have the option to apply for Pay in 3 if your purchase is eligible.

The application is completed securely through PayPal. All lending decisions are made by PayPal, and a new application is required each time you choose to use Pay in 3.

Managing Your Payments

Once your Pay in 3 loan has been approved, you can manage everything through your PayPal account or the PayPal app, including:

  • Viewing your repayment schedule
  • Checking your remaining balance
  • Making early or additional payments
  • Downloading your loan agreement
  • Viewing your purchase and payment history

PayPal also sends payment reminders by email and SMS before each instalment is due.

Repayments can be made using a debit card or bank account linked to your PayPal Wallet. Credit cards cannot be used to make repayments.

Refunds

If you receive a refund:

  • Partial refunds will automatically adjust your remaining instalments.
  • Full refunds will reduce or clear your outstanding balance. If you've already paid more than required, any overpayment is usually credited to your PayPal balance once PayPal receives the refund from us.

Your Rights

PayPal Pay in 3 is a regulated credit product in the UK.

Customers benefit from important protections, including:

  • A 14-day right to withdraw from the credit agreement.
  • The right to repay your balance early without penalty.
  • Protection under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 for eligible purchases between £100 and £30,000, where applicable.
  • Access to the Financial Ombudsman Service if you're unhappy with the outcome of a complaint handled by PayPal.

Before entering into a Pay in 3 agreement, PayPal will provide you with clear information about:

  • Your loan amount
  • Payment dates and amounts
  • What happens if you miss a payment
  • Your withdrawal and early repayment rights
  • How PayPal uses Credit Reference Agencies
  • Other important information about your agreement

Is Pay in 3 Right for You?

PayPal Pay in 3 may be suitable if you:

  • Are aged 18 or over
  • Live in the UK
  • Have a PayPal account (or are happy to create one)
  • Want to spread the cost of an online purchase without paying interest
  • Can comfortably make the repayments when they fall due

PayPal will assess your eligibility and affordability before approving your application.

Pay in 3 may not be suitable if you're experiencing financial difficulties or are unable to comfortably meet the repayment schedule.

PayPal provides support throughout the life of your agreement.

Customers can:

  • Contact PayPal Customer Service
  • Use the secure Message Centre within their PayPal account
  • Access the PayPal Help Centre online
  • Receive support in alternative communication formats such as Large Print, Braille and Audio (where available)
  • Request additional assistance if they have health conditions, communication needs or other circumstances requiring extra support
