Groupsets EMTB

SRAM and Shimano both offer solid e-MTB groupsets designed to handle the high torque and unique demands of electric mountain bikes. SRAM’s Eagle lineup—including SX, GX, and higher tiers like X01 and XX1—is popular, with wide gear ranges and durable drivetrains. The EX1 platform is specifically tuned for e-MTBs with fewer gears but stronger low-end ratios. Shimano’s Deore, SLX, and XT groupsets also perform well on e-MTBs, known for smooth shifting and reliability. Shimano’s gearing often pairs with its EP/E8000 and newer systems tailored to e-MTB use. Both brands focus on durability, strong chains, and wide-range cassettes for steep terrain.
