The Bosch battery adapter 1 is the interface between your battery and the e-bike. The adapter version 1 only offers a slot for connecting a battery cable.
In return, a suitable charging socket for charging your e-bike is already integrated in the adapter 1. This means that the Bosch battery adapter 1 is suitable for e-bikes with a charging socket integrated directly into the battery mount. This is mainly the case for e-bikes with a PowerPack frame battery. If, on the other hand, you are using a PowerTube Intube battery or if the charging socket of your e-bike is integrated into the frame, you will need the Bosch battery adapter 2.
