In a nod to riders wishing for a more traditional steerer interface, it moves away from the original Chicane’s hidden internal steerer wedge clamp.
It retains the smooth hinged faceplate and elegant aesthetic of its innovative sibling for a more aero interface with the bar - improving drag reduction. Inspired by life, the new Chicane B2 uses the same legendary 220° clamping interface found on many other Ritchey stems. This not only confidently grasps the bar more securely with reduced stress, but it also is less likely to damage carbon bars. Forged from lightweight 2014 alloy, the Chicane B2 beautifully marries performance, style and practicality to deliver a beautiful stem that’s as sleek as it is fast.
