Perfect symmetry is rare in nature, and cyclists are no exception. In fact, it’s not uncommon for one leg to be longer than the other. To compensate for such discrepancies, SHIMANO has developed stackable cleat spacers that provide between 1 mm and 5 mm of height-adjustment range.
