The Trek RIB 2.0 Hex Lock Assembly allows battery removal using a 6 mm hex tool for simpler servicing.
It can be replaced with a Trek RIB 2.0 Keyed Lock Assembly if preferred.
Important: Do not attempt to unlock the battery while the secondary latch set screw is engaged. Refer to the service manual for removal instructions.
